A letter from the Editor.

There’s nowhere quite like Edinburgh. It’s a heady mix of history, heritage, culture and community. Bursting with architecture, art, literature, museums, theatre, festivals, sporting prowess, geography. The list goes on and on.

Yet for many who are local to an area, it is so easy to miss and overlook the intrinsic beauty of the place we call home.

Edinburgh Life strives to put that right. Each issue celebrates the myriad facets of our capital city, inviting a closer appreciation, or proffering a surprising aspect, of the place we think we know so well.

Heritage, history, people, places, where to go, what to eat, what to do, where to meet.
In Edinburgh Life, there is something for everyone.

We hope you enjoy reading and discovering more about this wonderful city.
